Bunn has been a leading manufacturer of commercial foodservice coffee makers for decades, well-known for those glass carafes carried around by coffee shop waitresses. But with the growth of specialty coffee shops and the rising popularity of espresso drinks, Bunn realized that they needed to adapt to the changing market to maintain their dominance.

That realization led to the development of their new line of espresso and cappuccino machines, Bunn Espress. In turn, that development led them to ask Plan B to create a new logo for them that stayed true to the classic Bunn logo, while infusing it with a touch of modern cool.
