Michelle joins Plan B fresh off a successful stint at Mead Johnson Nutrition, the latest stop in an exceptional run of Brand Management experience. As an Associate Brand Manager at Anheuser-Busch, she led the repositioning efforts of Michelob Golden Light, helping reverse declining sales and gain share in the category. She followed that up with a move to ACH Food Companies, managing the digital and social strategy for Spice Islands, while shepherding the launch of two new products and an organic spices line. All throughout, the common thread was an approach to brand management that goes well beyond marketing alone, making big-picture decisions that outline the company’s future and impact the bottom line.
That same holistic strategy is already on full display at Plan B. In addition to her wealth of experience, Michelle contributes a one-two punch of deep analysis and laser-focused problem solving, identifying the root cause of brand challenges and addressing them with precision. Her ability to clearly outline which metrics matter most has also proved invaluable, helping clients work smarter to maximize return on investment. Moving forward Michelle hopes to further immerse herself in our clients’ businesses and continue to deliver strategic solutions that extend beyond marketing.
Raised on Staten Island and schooled in Arizona, Michelle moved to Chicago in 2011 to continue her education at Booth School of Business. She now resides in Bucktown with her husband and their two dogs, taking inspiration from her world travels to fashion an eclectic life in the Windy City. A talented home cook and professional acrylic painter/chalk muralist, Michelle strikes a unique balance of analysis and artistry. We’re excited to have her – and all of her talents – here at Plan B!
Michelle earned degrees in Marketing and Psychology from Arizona State University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
