Lucas De Jong
Director of CRM, Marketing Automation & Data Analytics Systems
Skilled in finding useful insights through data analysis, Lucas is a problem solver with an innovative growth mindset and passion for digital marketing, CRM system implementation, optimization and strategy. His daily mission is to teach sales teams to leverage the power of CRM, facilitating the effective use of technology and HR tools to observe customer behavior and develop best practices for reaching and connecting with them.
Before joining Plan B, Lucas plied his trade as Assistant Director of Admissions & Recruitment at the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and as Director of Marketing & Admissions at Midwestern Career College, implementing and optimizing their CRM systems. He also served as Director of Integrated Marketing at Dwell Earth, leading efforts to boost purchase conversions.
When he’s not preaching the CRM gospel, you’ll find Lucas at home with his wife, newborn baby boy, and two Dachshunds. He’s also been known to try his hand at extreme sports (motocross, surfing and snowboarding, to name a few) and dust off the ol’ discus (a throwback to his days as a collegiate athlete) from time to time.
Lucas has an M.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
