What were you doing before you came to Plan B?
I quit my ACD job at a digital agency in July because I knew we could be doing more for our clients and I wanted to find an agency that was taking the right risks. Since then, I’ve been everywhere from Mcgarrybowen, to Trisect, to a pharma agency working on a skin care line. It’s been pretty cool seeing the similarities and differences among advertising and marketing agencies in Chicago.

What’s your favorite part about working at Plan B?
Love that everyone gets to do and try everything, here. I can’t tell you how bored I get working on a single client, and how boring the ideas become after awhile when you don’t have new perspectives in the room. Thanks for letting me be a part of it!

What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever done?
I always thought the answer to this would be “completing my novel,” but literally today I found out I’m in someone else’s book–and that’s pretty cool! The NY Times has published a hardcover book called “Picture Your Life After Cancer,” which features cancer survivors and their families, including yours truly.

What’s your go-to karaoke song?
Respect” by Aretha. I like seeing the dj unfold the little white slip; then look at me and do a double take. I was raised on Motown, so that’s a fun one to sing, and the crowd always gets into it.

Anything else we should know?
I’ve got mad softball skills. Do not underestimate me.
