The Top 11 Misleading Services Ad Agencies Will Bill You For (But We Didn’t)

Last weekend Plan B headed north to Wisconsin’s Fox Lake for our annual summer outing. How much fun did we have? Well, let’s just say we’re all more than eager for a return sometime in the near future. (Now? Please?)

During our outing, we were reminded of a blog post we made a while back titled “The Top 11 Advertising Agency Expenses Buried in Your Invoice.” We considered the exorbitant costs of working with a lot of the big agencies, and listed some of the extravagant expenses so many clients unwittingly pay for when they feed those big, bloated retainers. And this week we joked about how ridiculous it would be for an advertising agency to bill a client for a summer vacation.

Of course, WE wouldn’t do something like that. But, thinking about it never hurt anyone, right? If we WERE to bill for time spent splashing about in the water, enjoying fun in the sun miles away from our Chicago office, we’d have to use some “liberal” definitions for our “work.”
